About Me
My name is Amy, and I work as a nurse at a 24 hour medical clinic. I love my work, and I love that I am part of something that makes my community healthier. Several years ago, the only choices for sick patients was a traditional doctor's office and the emergency room. Doctor's offices often can't get patient in for days or longer, and emergency rooms can be crowded and stressful and completely unnecessary when medical care is required that is urgent but not life threatening. Now patients can choose walk-in clinics where they can walk out having had their medical issues assessed and treated.
